New Product Limited Warranty
What is covered by this Limited Warranty?
The Seller warrants only to the original purchaser of the Product (“you” or the “Buyer”)
that the Product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the
Warranty Period defined below, as documented by a valid proof of purchase — e.g. receipt or invoice.
This Limited Warranty excludes consequential damages, limits the duration of implied warranties, and
provides for liquidated damages.
- What is not covered?
1.1 This Limited Warranty does not cover Products purchased outside of Australia.
This Limited Warranty does not apply to, and the term “Product” shall not include, (a) any consumable
Parts of the Product (e.g. batteries), or (b) Software, even if packaged or sold with the Product or
embedded in the Product (.e.g. firmware and/or system software) (“Seller Software”). Please refer to
the applicable licensing agreement, if any, that covers such Seller Software for details of your rights with
respect to its use.
1.2 This Limited Warranty does not apply to any:
(a) damage to the Product caused by use with non-Seller products;
(b) damage to the Product caused by accident, abuse, misuse, spillage of food or liquid or other external
causes, including but not limited to fire or an act of God, such as a flood;
(c) damage to the Product caused by abnormal use of the Product, outside the permitted or intended
uses described by Seller;
(d) damage to the Product caused by failure to follow instructions relating to the Product’s use, or use of
improper voltage or power supply;
(e) damage to the Product caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Seller;
(f) cosmetic damage to the Product, including but not limited to scratches or dents; or
(g) defects or Parts requiring replacement due to ordinary wear and tear, corrosion, rust or stains,
scratches, dents on the casing or paintwork of the Product.
1.3 Recovery and re-installation of Software programs and user data are not covered under this Limited
Warranty. It is your responsibility to backup any data, Software, or other materials you may have stored
or preserved on the Product. It is likely that such data, Software, or other materials will be lost or
reformatted during the performance of any warranty service, and Seller will not be responsible for any
such damage or loss.
1.4 No Seller employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Limited
Warranty. If any term of this Limited Warranty is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or
enforce ability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
a) How long does the coverage last?
This Limited Warranty lasts for one (1) year, starting on the date that you purchase the Product (the
“Warranty Period”).
b) How do you obtain warranty service?
To obtain warranty service from the Seller under this Limited Warranty, you must log onto your account and request help from the Seller in your Orders page. Failing that, please contact Tight Tech via email to info@tighttech.com.au or call us on 0493400254 to assist you in contacting the Seller.
b)The Seller will ask you questions to determine your eligibility under this Limited Warranty. Based on the
initial inquiry, the Seller will provide, where applicable, a Returns Form and
instructions for returning the defective Product and a pre-paid return label. You understand that such
measures do not imply that the Limited Warranty is applicable. Please note that you are required to
return the defective Product in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of
protection, together with proof of purchase, to the address specified by the Seller. By sending the
Product, you hereby acknowledge that ownership of the Product is transferred to Seller upon Seller’s
receipt of the defective Product. If the claim is justified based on this Limited Warranty, the Seller will
pay the cost of shipping the replacement or repaired Product to you. Any Product returned to Seller
without a valid warranty claim or without the supplied Returns Form may be rejected, returned at your cost (subject to
prepayment) capped to 5% of the price of the Product, or kept for sixty (60) days for your pick-up and
then disposed of in Seller’s sole discretion with no further liability or obligation to you. For specific

2.1 If a defect in the Product arises and a valid claim is received by Seller within the Warranty Period, Seller
will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, either (1) repair the Product at no charge, using new
or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) exchange the Product with a new or refurbished product that is
the same or similar to the Product you purchased. Seller provides no assurance, representation or warranty
that any replacement product will be identical to, or will offer the same functionalities as, the Product you
purchased from Seller on the Site. Technological advances and Product availability may result in your
receiving a replacement with a lower selling price than the original Product. In all cases, comparability of
the replacement product with the original Product will be determined by the Seller in its reasonable
discretion. If Seller determines it is not reasonable to repair or replace the defective Product, Seller may
refund to you the purchase price you paid for the Product.
2.2 In the event of a Product defect, to the extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies.
This Limited Warranty is valid only for purchases made by you within Australia.
Replacement or repaired products will only be shipped by Seller to addresses within Australia and refunds will only be credited to your original method of payment. Any replacement
product will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. - What are the exclusions and limitations to this Limited Warranty?
3.1 IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL
IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS (INCLUDING WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
3.2 These limitations shall be enforceable to the extent permitted by law. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or the limitation of implied warranties, so
the limitations or exclusions listed above may not apply to you.
3.3 LIMITATION OF DAMAGES. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SELLER SHALL
NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS
OF PROFITS, REVENUE OR DATA, RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF AN EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF THE SELLER HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION WHETHER
IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY. Some
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
3.4 This Limited Warranty is personal to the original Buyer and does not run with the Product. You may not
assign, transfer, or convey this Limited Warranty. - Specific Legal Rights

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales without giving effect to
any conflict of laws principles that may require the application of the law of another jurisdiction. This

All prices quoted in store or on our website include GST and are subject to change without notice if a pricing change happens to occur.
Service and Repair Warranty Non Lifetime.
1,1 After repair(s) of a device(s) is completed, or if uncompleted and cannot be repaired, the customer will have a 30 day time frame from when the customer has been notified of the completed repair(s) for pickup. Tight Tech will contact the customer either by phone call, text message or email or all of the above to collect their completed device(s) within Tight Techs business hours at the in-store location of the repair booking(s). If the customers device(s) is not picked up within a 30 day time frame, Tight Tech reserves the right to recycle, sell, salvage or dispose of the customers device(s) how Tight Tech sees fit to cover any or all losses that may have occurred to Tight Tech for this device(s) service(s) and or repair(s). Tight Tech will not supply insurance or take liability for losses or damages to a customer’s device in Tight Tech’s possession after a 7-day period of when the customer has been contacted or notified for pickup.
1,2 If Tight Tech requests payment(s) either in full or partial, the customer must pay all payments that Tight Tech Requests before any repairs or services will be executed. Data transfer or any other software related repairs and services that require Tight Tech to carry out these services or repairs with a customer’s security pass code, Password and account or email information, it is the customers sole responsibility to have all required information and be ready to supply any pass codes, usernames, emails and passwords to Tight Tech at the time of repair or at any time Tight Tech requires this information during repair. We will not refund any payments if a customer cannot supply this information before booking or on request during any repair, service or booking.
1,3 At times, dependent on the repair or service, Tight Tech may ask for a diagnostic charge of $89.00 for diagnosis of an iPhone and $129.00 for a diagnosis of an iPad, desktop computers,Laptops, or android devices. After the diagnosis process is complete, Tight Tech will contact the customer with a total quote of the repairs and services needed and the diagnosis fee will be deducted from the total cost of the repair if the quote has been accepted by the customer and it is not a liquid damage repair. Liquid damage repair requires an up front charge of $129.00 to cover the cost of motherboard treatment and a full dismatle of the device(s). If the outcome of diagnosis deems the device irreparable, a refund will not be given for any diagnosis charges.
1,4 When a device is booked in for a repair or service, Tight Tech will try its best to test any functions of the device at the time of booking. If Tight Tech is not able to test the functions of the customers device due to damage and the device is not in a full operational state at the time of booking, Tight Tech cannot be liable for any functions that no longer work after any initial repairs are complete as these issues are most likely to have already been evident before the time of booking.
1.5 If the customer, orders a “Mail In Repair” service(s) from our website and payment(s) have been received in full to our banking, Zip Pay PayPal account we will make every means possible to receive the customers device(s) after they have shipped it to the correct address listed in the checkout process and then repair and return ship the customers device(s) via Australia Post Express Postage r nominated courier service within 1-2 business days at no extra cost to the customer. It is the customers responsibility to make sure the device is packed well and insured to cover the costs associated with lost or damaged devices in transit to our location. tracking is also highly recommended as Tight Tech will take no responsibility for any lost items and devices in transit to our location. Normal time frames are for the most part “Same Day” from when Tight Tech receives a customer’s device(s) but delays may occur and time frames may vary due to but not limited to,
Customers error in diagnosis and correct repair(s) needed of their broken device.
Postal delays due to covid-19 restrictions in certain areas of Australia.
Incorrect make and model numbers of the device being repaired making parts for repair sometimes not available.
System errors in purchase orders and receipts.
1,6 All parts and labor carried out on a customers device is covered by a 12 month warranty starting from the date the customer has been notified of a completed repair or service. Liquid ingress or liquid damaged to device(s) repair is not covered in this 12 month warranty time frame. We try our best to advise customers of their best options in this circumstance but can not guarantee the customers device(s) will continue to function the way they are intended after the water damage repairs are complete due to problems that may arise after the repairs are carried out. Corrosion may in some cases continue to progress and because of this, we can not warrant such occurrences. Your warranty will also be void if the repaired device(s) and or parts have been subjected to physical damage, misuse, liquid ingress, mistreatment, incorrect voltage and current use or it has been tampered with by a 3rd party not authorized by Tight Tech. If Tight Tech deems the device(s) sent back for warranty purpose and Tight Tech Deems a Warranty Void due to any of the above mentioned, Tight Tech may charge a $89.00 service fee before the customers device is returned. the customer will also pay for any return shipping fees nominated by Tight Tech in this instance.
Lifetime Warranty for iPhone Screen Replacements

What is Covered
Our Lifetime Warranty covers the following:

Return Postage
Tight Tech will supply a tracking number(s) to the customer once return postage(s) has been executed via email(s), Text Message(s) or Phone Call(s).
All completed device(s) repair(s) will be posted back to the customer Via Australia Post Express Shipping or any other nominated Courier service and insurance cover will be added up to the current market value of the device(s) but not exceeding $1000 Free of charge to the customer.
Tight Tech Reserves to right to repair, replace or refund up to the current market value of the customers device if it is lost or damaged in the return postage process. Tight Tech may at any stage elect an assessor to investigate postal fraud and or neglect. When and if Tight Tech chooses to appoint a private assessor, Tight Tech may have to wait for the assessor’s findings and reports when they become available to Tight Tech. We will move forward to resolve any issues and compensate the customer for their loss(es) if any within the laws of the consumers protection act.
Limited Warranty
Warranty is limited to the parts and/or service(s) that were paid for. If only parts were purchased, the warranty is limited to the replacement of the parts. If parts and repair service(s) was purchased, warranty extends to cover the labor cost of part replacement and any other repairs specifically resulting from the initial repair, except in the situations outlined below.
We may collect information to give the right product to the right person and complete the transaction. This information enables us to improve our service and deliver the product as soon as possible.
We will often need to pass personal details such as your name, business name, address and contact number to other companies who perform parts of Tight Techs service delivery.
This includes organizations such as the manufacturer(s) of the item/s that you claim, major delivery companies, mail houses, and third-party fulfillment contractors.
Tight Tech does not take any responsibility for loss of data while repairing any device(s). It is always advisable to recover your data before Booking in a repair.
We will take all reasonable steps to protect your data and information, we also want you to feel confident in dealing with us in-store or over the internet.
Repair(s) to water-resistant device(s) may not be water resistant after repair. Water damage devices have 50% chances of survival, A water damage service fee is applicable whether the device is fixed or not. Motherboard issues can take longer time frames to repair, and the chances are very high for data loss on motherboard repairs.

The Tight Tech Loyalty Program (the“Program”) sponsored by Tight Tech is designed to help you get the most out of your Shopping experience. We reward you for doing the things you already do: shop on tighttech.com.au (the“Site”), and in store. Best of all, you can use the points you earn to purchase more products and services!
The following terms and conditions (these“Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions”) contain important information regarding the Program. Please read the following Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions carefully. These Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions are incorporated into the Site Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of the Site Terms and Conditions includes acceptance of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. Eligibility
To become a Member of the Program, you must be a legal resident of Australia and be 13 years of age or older. To enroll in the Program, you simply need to have registered for a Tight Tech account. You do not need to have a subscription to earn Points in the Program.
Earning Tight Tech Points
Once you have become a Member, you can begin racking up Tight Tech points(“Points”) the following ways:
- Shop, shop — every time you purchase a product or service from our online shop (the“Shop”) or in store. You earn 1 Point for every whole $10 spent per order (excluding tax, shipping charges and fees).
- Refer friends — earn 10 Points for every friend you recommend to Tight Tech.
Upon notice, Tight Tech reserves the right to suspend, terminate, revalue or modify, without liability to Members, all or part of the Points’ value structure and offers and any merchandise, repair or service. Tight Tech reserves the right to adjudicate all Points discrepancies in its sole discretion, and the Members agree to abide by any such adjudication. You can check your Tight Tech Points balance on your receipt or by coming instore and asking one of our employees.
Tight Tech Points Redemption
The Points are redeemable towards Goods, purchases, repairs and services in store or on our website. You can redeem your Points during the checkout process or in store. You may not use Points to purchase pay-as-you-go or prepaid subscriptions.
To redeem your Points, simply add items to your shopping cart, and click the“Checkout” button (if you’re not already signed in, the next screen will prompt you to sign in to your account). Continue through the checkout process. When you get to the Payment Details section, you’ll see a box that that says“Use Tight Tech Points” When you click it, your Points will be used and the dollar value will be deducted up to 50% from your order total. you can only use points to redeem up to a value of 50% off any single transaction. You can also use your accumulated points in store.
Points are available for redemption for the purchase of products and services only while supplies last. Product quantities may be limited. If you choose to apply Points to your purchase, you will not be able to select the amount of your Points that are applied to the order. If you have more Points than are necessary to complete a purchase, the appropriate number of Points will be applied up to 50% off the total purchase price and deducted from your account to complete part of the purchase price. all remaining Points in your account can only be used on future single purchases. You will be asked to select another form of payment to cover the remaining balance. For example, if a Member has a $200 order in their cart, or in store and has 200 Points (equal to $200), they may only apply a maximum of 100 Points (equal to $100) which is 50% of the total transaction purchase price, and pay the remaining 50% via credit card or cash. they may NOT use 200 Points (equal to $200) towards the purchase as the maximum points limit in any one transaction is only 50% of the single purchase price.
Refunds & Returns
Any items received as a result of Points redemption may only be exchanged for a refund of the applicable Points redeemed for such item (not cash or credit). Purchases made with Points will ship in the normal course of business.
Points earned via credit card transaction purchases on the Site or in store will be rescinded in the event that such purchase is returned for a refund.
Tight Tech Points Minimums And Maximum
You cannot redeem Points for more than the total amount of your purchase. Points are not redeemable for cash.
Tight Tech Points Balance
You can always check your Tight Tech Point balance in store or by contacting Tight Tech in business hours.
Tight Tech Points Expiration
Points will expire 24 months from the date they were first earned. If Member does not redeem Points within this time frame, Member forfeits all such Points.
Your receipt lists your Points balance history, which displays the dates your points were earned.
Reward Conditions
Rewards may be taxable, depending on the value of the item and our local tax laws applicable to Member. Members are solely responsible for reporting such items on their tax returns and paying any associated tax liability. Members may not assign or transfer any Rewards. Tight Tech makes no warranty in any respect as to any Rewards, merchandise products or services available within the Program.
Termination
Tight Tech may, in its sole and absolute discretion, cancel, change, suspend, or modify any aspect of the Program and/or any Reward at any time, including the availability of any Reward. Tight Tech may, in its sole and absolute discretion, terminate or suspend any Member’s participation in the Program for breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, or for taking any actions that are inconsistent with the intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. Tight Tech reserves the right at its sole discretion to prohibit any Member from participating in any aspect of the Program if Tight Tech deems or suspects that such Member has engaged in or has attempted to engage in any of the following:(a) acting in violation of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions; or (b) damaging, tampering with or corrupting the operation of the Program on or Site or in store; or (c) acting with intent to annoy, harass or abuse any other person; or (d) any inappropriate, uncooperative, disruptive, fraudulent, potentially fraudulent, or unusual behavior or activity; or (e) activity deemed in the sole discretion of Tight Tech to be generally inconsistent with the intended operation of the Program. Any decision Tight Tech makes relating to termination or suspension of any Member’s participation in the Program shall be final and binding in all respects. Tight Tech shall be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or breach of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or intent of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
Release
Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Tight Tech, by participating in the Program, Members release Tight Tech, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising and promotions agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents(collectively,“Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including, without limitation, property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of or in any way connected to the Program or the use of any Rewards.
Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify, defend and hold Tight Tech and its representatives and agents harmless from and against any and all third party claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs, arising from, or related to any breach by Member of any of these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or any violation by Member of applicable law.
Governing Law
The laws of the State of New South Wales Australia shall govern these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions. Member hereby expressly consents to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the courts located in New South Wales Australia for all matters arising in connection with these Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions or Member’s participation in the Program.
Tight Tech Support Program Terms and Conditions

Eligibility for Free Tech Support:
- Customers are entitled to free tech support for the period specified in the welcome text message upon joining the program.
- Each customer can link a maximum of two (2) devices to their account and enjoy free tech support for up to twelve (12) visits within a twelve (12) month period.

Device Submission and Identification:
- Customers have fourteen (14) days from the date of joining to submit and nominate their two (2) devices at our store for identification purposes.
- If devices are not submitted within this 14-day period, Tight Tech reserves the right to forfeit any device(s) not submitted for identification.

- Certain support services are not eligible under this membership, including but not limited to:
- Password and account-related support.
- Backup and data recovery services.
- Water damage or liquid ingress-related issues.
- Device repair or part replacements.
- Any other support services that Tight Tech deems not covered under this agreement.
