Quality Standards for Replacement Parts
At Tight Tech, we offer a range of replacement parts to suit different needs, ensuring quality and reliability. Our parts are categorized into two main standards: Aftermarket and Original Factory Sourced.
Aftermarket Standards
AGQ– A Grade Quality Aftermarket
Our High End line represents premium aftermarket replacement parts, specifically designed for the Australian repair market. We take an active role in product development, analyzing customer feedback and identifying common faults to enhance quality. This ensures High End parts remain stable, reliable, and consistently high-performing.
AMPRO – Aftermarket Pro
The Ampro series includes standard-quality aftermarket parts sourced from third-party manufacturers. While we do not oversee the production process, each part undergoes our rigorous QC testing to meet our quality standards. We work closely with vendors to maintain a rejection rate between 35%-50%, ensuring better reliability compared to other suppliers.
Original Factory Sourced Standards
Service Pack (OEM)
Our Service Pack parts are 100% genuine, brand-new original components sourced directly from manufacturers. We currently offer OEM parts for Samsung, Huawei, Google, and more brands will be added soon.
Refurb – Refurbished OEM Parts
Refurbished parts are reconditioned OEM components restored to their original functionality. They contain genuine OEM elements and undergo strict testing before being categorized as Refurb. These parts provide a cost-effective alternative without compromising quality.
OEM R2– Genuine Used OEM Parts (Round Two)
OEM R2 parts are original components extracted from OEM devices while retaining their authentic quality. Each part undergoes quality control checks and is graded based on condition:
- A-Grade (90%-95% New): Minimal surface wear, near-perfect condition.
- B-Grade (70%-80% New): Visible scratches but fully functional.
Marked – Discounted OEM Screens
Our Marked category includes OEM screens with minor visual imperfections, such as marks on the LCD or OLED (not the glass). These parts are classified based on blemish size and type, and we currently offer Condition A Marked screens at a discounted rate. Please note that these parts do not come with a warranty.
